Bike shop owner George Taylor found himself in the dock at Sparkbrook Police Court in Birmingham for some underhand shenanigans.

Taylor denied scattering tacks on the road outside his shop in a bid to drum up more puncture repair work.

He was found guilty and ordered to pay 40 Shillings plus costs.
