Sad day in North Shields court

A man named John Mycock attended the North Shields Police Court on Saturday morning for the purpose of giving evidence against a man charged with wilful damage. He took a seat on a front bench then fell forward upon the floor having apparently taken a fit. Policemen went to his assistance and carried him into the corridor where he expired. He was a lodging house keeper.
